Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. Short version: Toolvium collects almost nothing about you, because its tools run in your browser and the site has no accounts.
What Toolvium does not collect
Toolvium has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. It does not ask for your name, email address, or payment details, and it does not build profiles of visitors. Files you open in the tools (PDFs, images, documents) are processed in your browser on your device and are never uploaded to Toolvium's servers — with the labeled exceptions below.
Third-party services used by specific tools
- Grammar Checker: text you submit is sent to the LanguageTool API for checking, as stated on the tool page. Do not paste sensitive or confidential text into it.
- Currency Converter: fetches public exchange-rate data from the Frankfurter API (European Central Bank reference rates). No personal data is sent with these requests.
- AI tools (Background Remover, Upscaler, Enhancer): download open model files to your browser on first use; your images stay on your device.
- Content delivery networks: some tool libraries (for example, PDF and image libraries) load from public CDNs. Those CDNs may log standard technical data such as IP addresses, as their own policies describe.
Cookies and advertising
Toolvium itself sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics that identify visitors. If advertising is shown in the future (for example, Google AdSense), the advertising provider may use cookies to serve ads, including interest-based ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out pages. This policy will be updated if advertising is introduced.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting server keeps brief technical logs (pages requested, browser type, approximate location from IP address) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to identify individuals and are not shared or sold.
Children
Toolvium is a general-purpose tool site not directed at children under 13, and it knowingly collects no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
