How to use the Crossword Solver
Type the pattern using ? for every letter you do not know. The pattern length sets the word length, so "s???e?" searches 6-letter words only (try it — it finds "screen" and "street"). Add "must contain" letters when the clue gives you extra letters, and "exclude" letters to rule out words with letters you know are wrong.
An honest limit
The solver searches Toolvium's built-in list of 1,526 common English words — the same list behind the Word Unscrambler. Everyday crossword answers are covered; very obscure words, proper names and long specialist terms may not appear. If a word is missing, try a looser pattern or fewer excluded letters.

Can I search without any known letters?
Yes — a pattern of only ? marks (for example, "?????") lists words of that length from the built-in list.
Why is my word not listed?
The built-in list covers common English words only. Obscure words, names and specialist terms may be absent — that is a limit of the list, not of your pattern.
