Numbering like a professional
Reports and e-books usually skip the cover (title) page and start numbering from the first content page — tick "Skip first page" and keep "Start at" 1 if the cover should not count, or set Start at 2 if it should count but stay unnumbered. Numbers are drawn in a neutral gray Helvetica so they sit quietly on any design.

Can I remove page numbers later?
The original file is untouched — numbers exist only in the new copy this tool saves. Keep your original if you may need a clean version.
What if my PDF already has numbers?
You would get two sets. There is no reliable automatic way to erase printed numbers from a PDF.
